Yes, you can wash our silk products in a washing machine! Just don't use a dryer. Not only will a dryer cause the silk to shrink, but it also weakens the silk fibers.

To help the product last longer, we recommend using a laundry bag. Wash on the delicate cycle with your washer and at a cold water temperature. Line dry the product. To add that lustrous and crisp feeling, quickly cool iron the pillowcase and then enjoy!

Momme (pronounced either “moe-mee” or “moe-may”) is the unit of weight used to measure silk quality and density. A higher momme indicates a more durable, luxurious fabric with a richer feel. Think of it like thread count for cotton, only more refined.

Multiple, independent scientific studies confirm that copper has anti-microbial benefits, reduces inflammation, plays a role in collagen production, and more. Those benefits carry over to copper-infused fabrics, also confirmed in scientific and medical studies published in peer-reviewed journals in the US and Europe. 

We use independent European laboratories to test our fabrics and confirm copper composition. On top of that, we use these products ourselves and love the results!

If you follow recommended care guidelines, the products can last for years while maintaining their softness and benefits. Over time, you may notice natural wear, as you would with any bed linen.

Fair question! The answer is a few things: 1. Time and care taken to find OEKO-TEX compliant suppliers with consistent quality, 2. Some geopolitical pressures (tariffs) that we are nevertheless mostly absorbing ourselves, and 3. Infusing the products.

The copper infusion is the biggest driver of pricing differences right now. Adding copper or other minerals to a textile is an added expense. On top of that, we use the most complex - and most durable - approach to infusion.

The extra quality in our infusion approach also means a higher cost of production. It's worth it to us, though, as we believe in making a product that you can love and that will last, providing benefits and luxury for years.

All our US-based customers are part of our 3-4 business day (not calendar day) shipping plan. If your order is confirmed prior to 2pm EDT on a weekday, we'll get the shipment out that same day.

Something to know though is that we are a team of humans, not robots, and we take days off too. Our logistics team works Monday to Friday, so our shipment days are Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. We hope you understand our need to give our team holiday breaks too.
