Mulberry Silk Hair Scrunchies
For hair that deserves better.
Copper North's mulberry silk scrunchies make the case for doing something different. Silk is naturally low-friction and smooth against hair, reducing breakage at the hair shaft, preserving curl pattern, and keeping hair looking like itself rather than evidence of a night's sleep. Secure enough for thick hair, gentle enough to sleep in.
- Sleek: 1mm in width and slim enough to sleep in without a second thought. Four per box.
- Classic: 5mm that holds without pulling and is a strong presence every hour of the day. Three per box.
Available in rose pink, gold, chocolate brown, and a gold-and-chocolate duo, to coordinate perfectly with our pillowcases and eye masks.
Beautifully packaged and ready to gift, or to keep for yourself.

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
Can I sleep in my silk scrunchies?
Yes, and that's part of the point. Both the Sleek and Classic scrunchies are designed to be gentle enough for overnight wear, reducing friction and pressure on the hair shaft while you sleep. The Sleek (1mm) sits particularly close and is well suited for sleeping; the Classic (5mm) works overnight too, especially for thicker or longer hair that benefits from more hold.
What is the difference between Sleek and Classic?
Width. The Sleek scrunchie at 1mm is slim, close-fitting, and ideal for everyday wear or sleeping. The Classic at 5mm has more presence on the wrist and in the hair. Both are 100% mulberry silk. Neither contains copper; these are pure silk accessories.
Do these work for curly, coiled, or textured hair?
Yes, silk is naturally low-friction and smooth against hair, which makes it particularly well-suited for curl pattern preservation. Cotton and synthetic scrunchies create friction that can disrupt curl definition and contribute to frizz and breakage overnight. Silk reduces that friction at the source.

How many scrunchies come in a pack?
Sleek scrunchies come in packs of four. Classic scrunchies come in packs of three. Both are packaged in a gift-ready box.
Are these scrunchies copper-infused like the pillowcases and eye masks?
No, and that's intentional. The evidence for copper's documented properties is specific to skin contact, not hair. Our scrunchies are 100% pure mulberry silk, doing what silk does best: reducing friction, preserving curl pattern, and keeping hair looking its best. If you're looking for copper infused with your silk, the pillowcases and eye masks are where that experience lives.
Will these leave a crease or dent in my hair?
Silk's smooth, low-friction surface significantly reduces the pressure marks and creases that cotton or synthetic elastics leave behind. No scrunchie eliminates this entirely - hold requires some tension - but silk handles it more gently than most alternatives.
Are these suitable for fine or color-treated hair?
Yes. Silk's low-friction surface is gentler on fine hair than cotton or synthetic alternatives, reducing breakage at the hair shaft. For color-treated hair, silk's smooth surface causes less mechanical damage than rougher fabrics, which helps color stay vibrant longer by reducing cuticle disruption.
